SAPTCO organizes a Gathering for all its Agents in the Kingdom
Saudi Public Transport Company “SAPTCO” has arranged a meeting for all its agents in the different regions of the Kingdom, in the presence of the company CEO Eng. Khalid Abdullah Al-Hoqail, and more than (120) SAPTCO agents.
At the beginning, Eng. Al-Hoqail lauded the role of the agents. He said the company has been organizing such events with the aim of consolidating and improving the strategic partnership and cooperation between “SAPTCO” and its agents. He further cited the need to face the challenges with transparency and exchanged ideas in order to elevate the standard of services provided to the customers, and to improve the agents’ work.
“The total number of passengers served by the agents’ office during last year reached more than (2.6) million individuals. This reflects the positive work of the agents and the confidence the passengers have in their services” Eng. Al-Hoqail said. At the conclusion of his speech, Eng. Al-Hoqail stressed the necessity of joint action and crystallization of the Saudi 2030 Vision in light of the efforts being exerted by our well-guided government to keep pace with the ambitious and promising plans designed to build a bright future for the Kingdom, and to support the pioneering role of the company.
Shortly afterwards, a film was shown depicting the history and achievements of the company and the integrated transport solutions of “SAPTCO”. Mr. Ahmed Al-Juhani, Deputy CEO of SAPTCO gave a demonstration on the company’s strategy which led, during the last five years, to a quantum leap in the company’s plans and programs. The company performance was enhanced and the services were diversified beyond mere transport of passengers by buses to include SAPTCO Limo, SAPTCO Cargo, SAPTCO School Transport, and the newly established SAPTCO Metro. A positive impact has been realized through the technical improvement of booking and ticketing system, and the designation of seats for the agents; along with the automation of all stages of work at their offices.
Mr. Firas Abalkhail Vice President Marketing, also gave a demonstration on the company’s efforts to improve the work of the agents and to enhance their role and standard of services being provided by them. The goal is to render distinguished services to SAPTCO customers; aside from the incentives offered to its agents to have the motivation to achieve the intended objectives, and to meet the customer expectations.
This was followed by an open dialogue between “SAPTCO” officials and the agents. The discussion covered many topics and suggestions concerning the upgrading of services being rendered to the customers. At the conclusion of the event, a number of agents, who have performed extremely well during last year, were honored.
